i am now the proud parent of a child that has developed to the point of saying:
"da, da, dja, da, dja, dja, da, da"
repeatedly.
soon, oh so very soon, he will say these sweet words in reference to yours truly.
karen's not so impressed. she said she'll give me this one.

when I read this post, I saw a picture of this little boy with a mischievous, evil, grin on his face, planning and plotting to throw sand mercilessly at his little sister...oh wait...that WAS you!

It must be pretty incredible to hear your baby call for you for the first time by name...mmm can't wait.
Congratulations! It must be so exciting to hear those first words.
It was so nice you see you, Grandpa and Gabe this past weekend! Your little guy is so adorable!!! Wish our stay could have been longer. Hopefully we can all make it to the reunion this summer.
